INTRODUCTION

Who I am and Desire to Be

Hello all, my name is Holly Brugman and I️ am so excited to start this blog! I️ am currently attending Oklahoma State University with a major in fashion merchandise. My dream and desire for the future is to have the opportunity and privilege to work for an apparel company in hopes of continuing my passion of art, design, and of course fashion.

As of this blog... my hope is to entertain, inspire, influence, and most importantly share my thoughts about fashion, trends, and just life in general. 

My background..

Fun Fact, I️ am a twin! When I️ was a lot younger my mom had a fun time matching us so the world knew we where twins. 

As a kid, I️ was indeed the girly girl and my sister was the tom boy. This trait, as a kid, contributed to my interest in the elements of fashion. From dressing Bratz dolls, to teaching my sister what to wear, I️ always had a natural fascination and interest in fashion. 

I️ was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado and moved to Texas for 8th grade. This move is what contributed to my attendance to OSU.

Throughout high school, I️ found my identity through fashion and styling myself. I️ noticed that when I️ wore things that where different, I️ was noticed more. People began to comment on my style in a positive way and this altered my perspective of fashion. Clothes were not just meant to be worn, they were meant to be styled and rocked. My eyes began to drift from the floor to the path in front of me. Fashion gave me the gift of confidence. Though the complements were nice, style became way more than that; it is my platform to express who I️ am. I️ began as a trend follower to a trend setter. I️ noticed when I️ wore something different my friends caught on and did the same. I️ realized then, I️ was good at this.

So here I️ am blogging, in order to put my ideas, interest, and passion in words and pictures and to expand my understanding of fashion and influence yours.
