This Spring Thing

It's Spring Break, finally. So what's "in" this spring?

The Colors | Lavender and Light Blue
Light colors are springs call to simplicity; setting a delicate and soft vibe to the start of this
season.

These colors complement the not so tan complexion some of us have, as well as those will the super Touch Of Bronze tan we got before a day on the beach. Whatever complexion, these colors work and sell this spring thing.
Pattern | Polkadot
We saw stripes and plaid take over Fall of 2018, but we have a new season and new year. 2019 is bring black and white polka dots back.. and hopeful not this ;)

And more this...

I️n all realness, I️ wouldn't wear either, but fashion week gave us the gist... polka dots are back. Polka dots allow black to work with spring because the white lightens it up and offers and balanced contrast between light and dark.
Neckline | Square
This square neckline is one of my favorite looks. It defines ones collarbones and still complements ones bust.

This look enhances a women's neck and appeals to the beauty they have shoulders up. It takes the the common focus away from a woman body and directs it towards her face and posture. It is a very modern look that can be see in a shirt or dress and rocked by anyone because it is a very universal cut.
Details | Shoulder Puffs and Ruffles
Ruffles have been a recent spring trend for a few years now because they implement a light delicate feel to a garment. They offer subtle but effective detail that is powerful and can be dressed up or down. 2018 revealed the trend of ruffles with the "prairie girl" look; 2019 is keeping this in-tacked and making it a super spring thing, while adding a touch of shoulder puffs to keep things new and fresh.

Of course I️ don't expect anyone to roll out in this extravagant piece, but 2019 run way spring collection made it clear, ruffles are here to hangout for a while. And in all seriousness, try this next time your inspired to incorporate some ruffles.

Material | Sheer
The runways have spoken; sheer is now absolutely acceptable without being
overbearing or "distasteful". Celebrities have been able to get away with this before by using it as a statement piece for the Met Gala or Grammy Awards. It was also a common concert and going out trend. This spring, it is an everyday kinda trend with a classy and splendid vibe.

From the runway to ur closet...

Light simple but, seriously, so flattering. It allows you to cover up without covering up; ironic right? But absolutely genius. SO, when you pass up that adorable shirt because it was "too" see through, re-think because sheer is so in and has a new message to tell.
There are so many new, and old trends coming back for this spring season and if you are loving or are not loving these examples, try them anyways. You never know what could look absolutely incredible on you unless you do. As fun as trends are, it also doesn't mean you have to live by them or exchange your entire closet to follow them. Work with what you have and maybe purchase a few extravagant pieces to tryout for the season. Find trends that work for you; you are your own canvas, so use it and make it personal to you.
Lots of Love <3
